It was inaugurated on 1st June, 2016 in Jos, Plateau State and has since grown to have a footprint in housing estates, retail business, water factory and as a result improving the standards of living of its members.

What is a Cooperative Society?
A Cooperative Society is a voluntary association of individuals or legal persons united by a common bond, who have come together to pursue their socio-economic goals for their own benefit.
Who is eligible to be a member?
Anyone who is an employee of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria or any Federal Government Agencies and MDAs.
Can I register as a non-member?
Yes — register under non-member via the portal. Non-members can access specialized services through buying shares.
Is there a fee payable on application for membership?
A non-refundable entrance fee of ₦10,000 shall be paid by a new applicant, or such other amount as may be fixed by the Executive Committee.
How do I contribute my monthly subscription?
The subscription is deducted from source through IPPIS or paid directly to the cooperative account. No cash transactions are allowed.
What is the minimum subscription amount?
The minimum subscription is ₦5,000 per month.
Can I withdraw part of my subscription balance?
No. A member can only withdraw the whole of his savings upon withdrawal of Membership.
How do I obtain a loan from the Cooperative?
Visit the society website and fill the Loan application form. The Executive Committee will review and approve. Loans are subject to funds availability.
How soon can I be considered for a loan after joining?
Loans shall be made only to persons with a minimum of 6 months of membership.
What is the minimum share capital?
The current minimum share capital is a multiple of ₦10,000. The maximum is ₦5,000,000, which can be upgraded at any time.
What is target saving?
A member may operate additional savings account known as Target Savings which can be withdrawn fully at the targeted time. Such savings attract no interest and no processing fee.
Can a member withdraw their membership?
Yes — by conveying 3 months notice in writing to the General Secretary, provided the member is not indebted to the society or standing as surety for another member.
Can I reapply after withdrawal?
Yes, provided a reasonable interval of not less than 12 calendar months from date of withdrawal is given, and the readmission fee is paid.
Is there a penalty for missing the General Meeting?
Failure to attend any General Meeting attracts a fine of ₦1,000 unless a written letter or electronic communication is sent to the Secretary stating cogent reasons.
